just look for cracks dry rot if the wires are stiff and ridged time to change them or if they are cracked rips torn etc.
DevilDawg3097 said:check to see what kind of plugs you have. The previous owner could of had it tuned and put colder plugs in and it will run like shit stock. Or the plugs are fouled and need to be changed. Here is something to live by K.I.S.S. keep it simple stupid (no offense to you) just start out with the simole stuff plugs wires this will make a big differance in how your truck runs. Then we will go from there.![]()

go get new plugs an keep the gap around 32-35 your stock so that is good for your truck 028 hes running turbos. You will be amazed at the differance. Or clean them and regap them if the stores are closed you will still notice a differance.Greg Z said:Pulled 2 plugs and they both are about 39-40 it has 27k miles on it.

Greg Z said:Yes. That is the one.
Quite a few people mention different mods to get me to where I should be, BUT here is the deal IMO. I want to get a truck that is already up to par. I don't want to mod it just to get it where stock should be. If others can "cook" the tires stock and I can't, this makes me very unhappy.
