just wondering wat's that 10 pin connector for.:dontknow: :dontknow:

not power, not audio, wheel controls neither.

just pulled it out and averything works fine....
is that an AUX input?

thanks

so, if there's no Ipod kit available (on ebay every kit is not compatible with RB4 or RB3)

maybe they are not compatible with wheel controls and so on, I just want to listen to some music, not playin with controls.

which kind of cd changer could I buy?

The MoPar iPod kit won't work with the RB4.

I wanted to leave the nav disc in all the time so I picked up the
MoPar external CD player. Got mine new online for about $120 US.
Steering wheel and radio controls and display works with the RB4.

The part number is 82207483, you also need the installation kit 82207482
this comes with the mounting bracket and wiring harness.

mhh, you mean won't work at all or some of the functions but audio?

I believe the 10 pin connector runs under the passenger's seat as I read in some other posts...

thanks!

Yes they do. I installed this kit with my RB4 and it worked. It just doesn't work perfectly. You can only track up and track down (no album navigation capability), and the display only reads tracks (no artist, song info). Also, it won't transition to bluetooth if you're listening to the AUX (just screws everything up); however, the bluetooth works fine when listening to CD's or radio.

To answer the original question, I believe the 10-pin connector is for your Uconnect hands-free (bluetooth). I originally unplugged it installing the ipod kit and I had no bluetooth. :dontknow:

I have written pretty explicit threads about this subject, just search around.

Attilla - I hope this answers your PM.

thanks! this completely answer my question!
my goal is just listening to the music!

So I'll plug it to the 10 PIN connector, I'm going to find where the extension already plugged in runs to. I will try removing the plastic thing rear the seats.

I'm going to search which kit, could you even give me the part number anyway?

THANKS

Just spent over an hour looking for that damn 10 pin connector under the seats: nothing.

Manual says Sirius (which I don't have) should be in the back of passenger seat. but there's should be the cable at least! It is plugged into my radio, then taped into a big bunch of wires.

I removed the Sub Woofer and the plastic storage, nothing.

under the center seat there's a spare connector, but only 2 pins.
under the passenger seat there's a square hole in the carpet, I can see some wires but colors don't match those running from the radio.

I can see some colors of that 10 pin connector starting from the radio running down the right door next the antenna cable.:dontknow:

any hints please? I need to find that cable, it became a personal matter!

THANKS
