$100K Tesla

"R-1-2" :dontknow:

It's missing 4 gears! :D

Neat car though!

I like it! I think they may just have something there. :) ........ Too bad they have to keep the vehicles so light, to be able to perform. I don't think we'll be seeing any electric pickup trucks anytime soon. :( With the Li-Ion tech, they have come a LONG way tho.

Do you know how much gas I can buy for $100,000?
:D

Less today than yesterday, and possibly only half as much next year than tomorrow.

Oddly enough one of my "green buddies" and I were talking about this last night.

The smallest electric motor capable of producing 525 ft. lbs. of torque- approx. 400 kW- is about 2100 kg.
(For those not on the Metric system, that's 4630 lbs.)

My wife takes a strange but interesting approach to this kind of thing. As a scientist she thinks that it is her responsibility to use some of her compensation to make a statement in favor of new technologies.

I am still trying to bend that attitude to a point where she accepts an '08 Viper as "new technology." Need a little help here guys....

"Honey, the only ass nicer than the '08 Viper's is yours."

I just watched an electric bike run a 7 last weekend, first time they have broken into the 7's and they backed it up in the afternoon. It was a trip watching it whoosh by hehe.

There was a good show on History Channel (I think), believe it was called Mega Disasters. It was an episode on what will happen when the oil runs out. It was a good show to get you thinking.

Strap a vertical cylinder shaped object to the passenger seat of said '08 Viper and take her a spin around the block (All while she sits on said vertical cylinder shaped object of coarse. . .)

I bet she'll LOVE the "New Technology". :dontknow: :D

humm somewhere i read about a viper that had been fitted to run ethenol if i remember correctly lol there you go :)

this car is pretty cool though and i agree keep getting less and less gas for the same money that 100k could get up ate up pretty quickly especially with vehicles like ours lol

She wants it, I want a new Viper.

I think I know where this is going to end up.

The idea of a vertical cylinder in the passenger seat has possibilities...I may have to discuss that with her.
