$100K Tesla

She is tougher than me. And she is the bread winner. I must be careful.

Hmmmm, neat idea and sounds like its green friendly, but a buddy of mine asked me- how much pollution is generated in mining all the lithium (a lot from Canada) and producing the batteries(way the hell over in Japan), and where do the batteries go when they are all used up(our backyard)? :dontknow:

There is probably a lot of pollution involved with mining the minerals involved to construct the batteries, but they can clean that up. Hopefully. When a battery ends its useful life the dealer is the one that should be swapping the batteries out so they should never end up in your backyard or the landfill.

Nuclear power plants do have huge potential if we can address the downsides.

I tend to think that exploring our existing energy sources (coal, oil, nuclear) should be approached with a national dedication to developing ways to use these sources safely and with significant reduction of pollution and a giant jump in efficiency.

At the same time, parallel programs to develop long term replacement technologies to make us energy independent are required.

All we need is the will to do it. Something akin to the leadership President Kennedy provided in getting us on the moon.

There are lots of problems that can be solved if are willing to place the proper priority on them. I think it is all about leadership...another problem area that needs some attention.

The only problem is the range. You just can't pulli into a station and "fillup"
in the conventional sense. A fillup takes several hours.

Put a strip club at every charging station and gasoline-powered vehicles will disappear in less than a decade.

This man is out of the box in very creative ways...just what an inventor needs to be!

"Charging the Tesla is as easy as filling up with gas, but cleaner and less smelly. "
