My 84 year old Grandmother was PISSED when my Uncle sold her Mustang LX 5.0 (stick-shift) Convertible last year. He bought her a Nissan Maxima instead. She says it's a slow pos. :laugh:

Really loved her stang huh, Thats cool. Bad part is old vanilla ice 5.0 ran 15's and new maximas run faster then that. My girl has a altima and they are nice cars, I think maximas are very nice. I want to ride in one with the cvt trans. But I still do like the fox body stangs. Heard 5.0 will be coming back out again.

my 93 LX 5.0 ran low 12's with very little work. I would love to pick another one up some day. Problem is, most of them are beat to crap, or the ones that aren't are getting expensive.

Yep, she bought it new in 1990. She loved that car. It only had 40k miles on it. I think the new Maxima is a nice car. :dontknow: It's got the 3.5L (I think) in it... it's fairly "peppy".
