12yr old on Busa 1/4mile

No child should be on any motorcycle of that size...
 
that's awesome. never just assume someone can't do something just because of their age. this kid has talent!

looks like he almost lost it at the end .. a wide sway to the left back to the right .. i woudnt be lettin him ride that bike again.. gonna kill him self for sure..... the bike has an auto shifter on it so all the kid had to do .. is hold on and hope it went straight..
 
Who here is willing to throw the keys to an '08 Viper at a 12 y/o to run down the track?

I think the kids got talent.. you can tell it's not his first bike to be on let alone take it down the track... but all the pro dragbike racers started in there pre teens to early teen years.. if he keeps it up then just think of what kinda times and skills he will have 5 or 6 years from now
 
Just because he can do it doesn't mean he should be. Every spring we have enough kids that buy a crouch rocket and end up killing themselves in the first couple months when they get cocky.

When I bought my last bike the only thing that saved me was growing up driving dirt bikes. That's where the twelve year old should be now practicing the basics.

as he gets heavier he will get slower...but technology will combat that and make him faster...if someone were to argue that his reaction time, strentgh, experience will make him faster down the raod you are proving he should not be on this bike.
at 12 years old you dont have the brain power to make wise decisions, he shouldn't be on the bike.
 
i'd be willing to bet money he'll be on circut by the times hes 18....and something else i'm just happy the kid has a hobby.. i don't know about where you guys are from but drugs and gangs are bad around here i'm tring to get a car together for me and my little brother just to keep him into something...as this kid starting out on a busa.. thats another story lol

yes he shoudl be racing .. but not on a 1000cc plus bike.. maybe a bike that is ment for kids 12 yrs old... 125 cc or something.... would be more like it..
 
The kid has probably been riding since he was four!.Def got some skilzzzz!!
awful big bike for a 12 year old though.I hope daddy doesnt get him killed.!!
 
if its an auto tranny like someone said, and he isnt racing anyone that there really isnt much skill involved...it more experience on the bike. show me a vid of bracket races where he has to shift and then skillz...either way he shouldnt be on the bike.
 
to me it sounds like an air shifter but i'm not that good with bikes i just know alot of guys around the local strip thats what they run and a small bottle of Co2 to power it
