hey everyone just got my truck not too long ago(just made first payment) any way i too it to the track 3 days after i got it, haven't been able to get back down there yet though(i work on friday nights and that seems to be the only time they are open anymore) i was really worried about this truck being slow(seen them at the track running mid-low 14's) but i was really happ with my first pass(13.42@103). only made 2 more passes ended up with a best of 13.25@107, truck had magnaflow and a K&N drop in. just waiting for xmas to pass now, bought a set of factory 17" dodge rims and i'm going to get the m/t et streets for it. from what i've read around here they seem to work on the 04's with the 4.10's. i don't guess anyone on here is from the central texas area?? i've only seen 1 other srt since i got my truck and its a silver qc.

Better try your rims on for size. Make sure they clear the brake calipers. Alot of us have Eagle Alloys 058's. They fit with no modifications.

Me thinks those 17's arent gonna fit without some trimming of the brake calipers.

There are a few here that have run the Dodge Ram 17" rims without incident....on the M&H's... good idea to test fit... but I believe you will be fine.

oldguy

He only atated that he has seen only one other in his area, Silver QC.

He has an 04 so it must be a RC.

Good time!!

Since he bought it used I bet the PCM has been flashed to get low 13s...

I would have to agree, MPH is too high for a stock flash.

103.5-104 something is about the best a stock truck will run.

wow, lot of replies so quick, yeah my truck is a RC not QC and as far as the PCM i'm not sure, i thought that the truck ran a little better than it should have, pulled pcm out and there were no stickers on it from DC racing...etc just dodge sticker saying authorized software update. i have test fit the factory rims and they clear, very close though(but they were only 10 bucks a rim so i just bought them and if they didn't fit no biggie...i have 2 extra..) not sure on the temp but i know i wasn't wearing a jacket...
