16-0

Yeah Congrats are due to the Pats, but I'm an Eagles fan, so I really don't care...:dontknow:

One the best games I,ve seen in awhile(close game to the last minute)

Giants gave them the best run for the money considering it meant nothing to them as well since they made the playoffs last week. Most points scored against them all season as well. Credit to the Giants.

Gratz to the Pats though. Even though they cheated against the Jets early in the season.

It was a tough and frustrating game. Pats did a good job getting back on top cant wait till the playoffs.

GO PATS!

This may be an unpopular opinion around here, but here goes.

I'm really tired of the Pat's being compared to the 72 Dolphins and the 85 Bears. I'm tired of hearing the words "Legendary" and "Belly-Chick" in the same sentence. The Patriots have the WEAKEST schedule of any play-off team. I mean honestly? They played the Dolphins twice, barely beat the Ravens and Eagles...

Sure, a win is a win... but coming from behind in multiple games against sub .500 teams and winning by a field goal multiple times this season has gotten old. That's not impressive by any standards.

I think Tom Brady MIGHT be the 5th best quarterback in the NFL. While Randy Moss is good, I don't think that he's Jerry Rice. I think strength of schedule and advantages play a big part in the "records" this team has accomplished.

The regular season means very little in the grand scope of things. Ask any member of the 72 Dolphins. What they do in the playoffs will forever mark this team as either the "over-rated who couldn't" (which I firmly believe) or the 4th quarter comeback kings of all time.

It's all very hard to stomach watching BellyChick gain praises for what he's done for the franchise... he's the same asshole that got caught cheating at the beginning of the season. Slapped on the wrist by the NFL, and then rehired as the league's top paid coach after the ownership denounced cheating? Oh please.

I may eat my words, but I don't see them getting past the Colts, the Chargers, the Cowboys... if the Eagles figured out how to beat this team, and the guys with actual talent execute, the Pats are just another NFL team... the NFL team with the easiest schedule.

Brite- I hear ya.
But weren't the Dolphins the last team to beat the Pats?

Also, not sure if you know this, but EVERY team in the NFL videotapes. Belichick got made an example of, mainly because the NFL doesn't like it...and Mangini is a persistent bastard. LOL

I'm not really an NFL fan, but I've been forced to watch the games (Rachel loves Brady). I watched the 2nd half of the game last night. The composure of Brady on the field is something that ALL quarterbacks should take a look at. The guy is cooler than the other side of the pillow....even with a gang of 300 lb. guys coming full-steam to rip his limbs off.

Montana, Farve, Bradshaw....all fantastic QB's, but none are/were as calm and collected as Brady.
Hell, the guy plays 3 hrs. of football and doesn't even break a sweat!

What I would REALLY like to see is Tressel and Belichick play a game of RISK. Those guys manage 60 minutes of football like no other coaches I've seen. Impressive.

Okay...I'll go back to my regular sport now...
Did anyone notice that A.O. ("The Great 8") had 4 goals last night? F-ing awesome!
How about Nick Zherdev's 104% unselfish play at the end of the CBJ game? Don't see that often.

what...... is everybody forgetting the falcons, with that winning
season they had this year it's a shame the pat's did'nt get to play
them this year ....
it would have been a slater!!!!! for the pat's that is. lol!
Hay they would have had a shot if they would have had M.vick!!!
NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!

Well say whatever you want every team in the NFL did what the Patriots got nailed for. New York teams are just cry babies...They all are in every sport...The last class act in that towns sports history was Mark Messier. The Knicks are a complete joke, The Isle's and the Rangers suck balls and their franchises are in disarray. The Yankees and Met's spend the most and should be better then everyone else but, they ain't. The Giants showed some back bone for the first time since Tiki Barber retired...Kudos to them. The Jet's could use Jon Klecko and Mark Gastineau and a real coach. Even the MLS team blows....They all suck and I hate each and ever single team from that state.

The Patriots are the best team of our time like them or not. 3 championships and a 4th coming this year. The schedule was not chosen by them , they have played everyone put in front of them and beat them.....I'd say not bad for a late round, never be anything but a back up QB from Michigan. The Patriots are a team and better then anyone else are able to shed high profile players and never miss a beat. That coach is a genius and nothing else...He has won more with less then anyone else.....Now Craft decided to pay the price for some players to finally give Brady someone to play with.....and just look at what he has done over his whole career. I am not a Patriots fan however I am a big time fan of Tom Brady....Simply the very best QB I have ever seen in this generation or any other......He is humble and brilliant how could I not like him...Love Brett favre as well :D

Congrats to the Patriots they are making history and it's fun to watch...I hope I don't have to see another sickening shot of those old Bastard Dolphins toasting to another undefeated season.....Those Dolphins could never play these patriots and win....Larry Czonka was a stud though :D How bout those Red Wings Kevan :D :D :D I hate the Av's 139 % more then any New York over hyped team.....I also respect Colorado for finally getting rid of that Lemieux Fucker :D

Although i dont like the patriots, its basically haterade coming from you and nothing more,3 super bowls wins in 4 years, the weak schedule includes wins over 6 of the 11 other playoff teams, get real, what the patriots have done over the past few years with the salary cap is unsurpassed.

sf in the late 80's and dallas in the early 90's accomplished similiar feats but without the salary cap restrictions that are in place now.

like it or now they're a great team and have a great coach, that being said i still wish they would lose

Mikey- you forgot Tony Mandarich and The Boz! :)

I'm trying to remember....where did the RedWings end up in the playoffs last year?
Oh yeah- whooped up on by the #8 seed in the first round.
That's right.
:D :D :D
BTW- I'm not a Lemieux fan (Claude or Mario). I'm a SAKIC fan.

Fact-ade 3 of their 16 wins which according to u are (most of them ) they came from behind to win by 3 points 2 teams had a losing record and the last being the giants are a playoff team,
i'm sorry your team sucks.

1972 dolphins Opponents' record: 70-108-4 (.396)*

Record against teams with winning records: 2-0

Points scored/allowed against teams with winning records: 43/23

Do your research before rambling

I have to admit that I am with you on this chub. They have had a great season and KUDOs go out to the pats.Hey this comes from a stupid ass season ticket holding dolphin fan!! Yeah we suck balls, But we WILL be back.
GO DOLPHINS:elefant: :elefant: :elefant: :elefant: :elefant: :elefant:
