Hello,
im new to this great Forum and i want to ask if it´s possible to fit 18" rims on the front and the rear of a Stock 2005 QC SRT10.

Thanks from germany

Basti

Why do you want to go down to 18's?

For Winter time, well it´s sits the most of the time in the garage, but in some days i need it.
So 18´s will not fit, maybe 20´s??

Basti

18's dont usually fit over the front calipers Strada, the rear yes , but not the front, some rims may, but you would have to visit a local rim dealer and basically jsut sit there and try on different rims like looking for shoes:D

but Yessir 20's will work, it is tough finding rubber that works well in bad weather:eek:

but welcome Strada, hang out some, these boys dont bit too hard:D

You mean swapping a rim that weighs way to much for a lighter one........ Is that correct
i didnt put a ? go back and look at it now i assed how is puttin a lighter weight wheel on a fail?

18s would be lighter and the tires would have more sidewall of course. But I'm sure the gearing would be off if the tires weren't the same height as the one's on the 22s. I thought about going down to 20s for longer trips, but the truck just looks too good the way it is.

I guess eveyone forgot the just before it went to production they had 20 inch rims. And there are tires that get you close to overall diameter to the 22 inch. 20 inch will work fine.

Yeah, the size that comes from the factory as our spare tire.

I looked into swapping for 20"....just couldnt find a width I wanted.
I will send you a link 325/45r20 they are actually cheap and I believe 1 to 2 inches if that shorter then the stockers. BUt I put them on hold Until I am done with my go fast mods.
