Sweet:rock: My first car was a 65 Stang... 3 on the floor, little 289 with a Holley 4bbl, try-y headers, and flowmasters:D I loved that little car

looks exactly the same as my friends stang. had 8 layers of paint when we started stripping it down and found how well someone could form the rear driver taillight housing out of 1"thick bondo. atleast it's getting down right.

I had a friend years ago who had a 65..put a straight axle front end in it and a really nice 289 with a 4 sp..Put some big ole slicks on it with some NOS, and could pull the front off the ground at will..It was a really nice car..if I recall it had a fiberglass front end as well..not sure about that though..
Yours is pretty sweet too..Good luck with it..

thanks guys...mines got a basically stock 302...holley 650 carb and intake...vintage air...4 core radiator...can get in it and drive anywhere...and ride in a little style too

this is what really pissed me off after it got strip...why would someone even attempt to fix this?
