1997 S-10 SS, 4.3 Vortec, Cranks, No Start.

If it wouldn't start with starting fluid then my guess is the coil and coil wire. I've had them appear ok using spark testers but the vehicle still wouldn't start. And if that's the case then your plugs should be wet with fuel.

try changing the plugs... ive seen plugs fire out of engine and not under compression.
