Bobby and i always enjoy some tracking outings but it's so hard for us due to work and the stupid rain we have here. Anyways, we finally got to meet up last night for some fun. He ran a best of 11.6@ 118mph with a 1.6x 60'. That's down right MOVING for a big quad cab. Congradualtions bobbbY! Through the night he was having trouble with his shifting, time's suffered. Still a fun night for both. I dont have the video of his 11.6 pass because i was still swapping my slicks on my truck.

Track was humid and very hot. It was hooking well though. I got to meet another VTCOA member who had a red QC. Very nice fellow, i just cant think of his name. He was pulling some good 2.0' 60's on stock tires. He almost dipped into the 13's with his stock truck. Very impressive!:rock:

Nice man, really is a shame your not closer, we'd be a damn good race. Next time i go to the track I'm gonna try to get some in cab videos too.
 
Arrest, glad you posting in this thread. Id like to hear your opinion on how i can improve launching. Looks like i need more RPM and a longer burn out. I tried my best to get a 1.7x but it wasnt happening. Also could be not slipping it enough but i doubt it.

You gotta quit picking your ears, changing stations at the light and cut the sideburns and you'll gain at least 2/10s :D
Quit lifting and quit tryIng to yank the shifter from it's base, lmfao
Great runs and shift other than that!!

I'd try more rpm with less slip, sounds like it bogs or slips on the vids instead of spinning. My times have always been a little faster spinning off the line a little vs bogging. I normally launch at 4500 and just side step the clutch
 
I was pleased but I won't go into details with the truck. Just posting here to show Bobby's tank soon work. That Paxton sounds so damn good!
