1st time out with Nitrous, not so good

So i made 3 passes yesterday with a 100 shot using 19 and 36 jets..

I think it was a fail since the start because the nite before the race i had an issue with the purge coming on as soon i gave the system power..

Thinking i had a crossed wire somewhere or a short I started tearin apart the wiring that i spent so much time to conceal... The last thing i checked was the switch...Turns out the the push button switch i had was normally closed and when you press it, it would disconnect....Even so it burnt out my purge solenoid so i didnt have a purge for the track:argh:

Oh yeah and bottle warmer was no goo either...it would not heat..


So first pass...bottle pressure was 850-900

60 ft was a 2.4 Lol

1/4 was 14.1 @ 103


2nd pass
bottle pressure@ 1100

60 2.2

1/4 was 13.7 @107


Last run i took of the DR's and threw them in the bed and put the stocks back

on..

bottle pressure was 950

60 2.2

1/4 13.4 @ 108.



Any input on whats going on? I ran slower with the Nx then NA..

I almost want to say that i really couldnt feel the Nx hitting...However my trap speed at does show it as normally at this track i hit mid 13's @ 102

yeah thats what im thinking....maybe the first run was pure air and extra fuel splaining the slow run..

i felt it on the last run though...i lil bit
 
it's not working man PM me any questions you have i've been doing nitrous set up for years now.. and i don't use a purge normally.. i spray a bit in the burn out box... like i said PM me with any questions and we can sort it out
 
Gotta be real careful spraying in the burnout. Sounds like you were spinning hard off the line. Do you have a window switch controlling the nitrous or just a manual button? If it is on a button don't hit it till you get in second gear.

No spin, i actually bogged heavily..i dumped at 3500 and those mhs just hooked.

I have a dual nozzle set up, (bought from hiss)

msd window switch and a NX tps switch.

first run window was 3500 to 5200

the 2nd and 3rd was 3000to 5000
