I have (2) 12" Aura Sound Aluminum/Composite Cone Subwoofers. They are used, but in great condition. Cost to me (and I was a dealer of them) were $200.00 each.
Put 400-500 watts to them each, in a 1 cube (each) sealed/slot loaded box, and they will re-define your definition of bass.
These were prototypes from AuraSound of the RPM Series.
I had 4 of these in my S-10, with 250 watts on each, and I cracked my front window in 3 places when I did an SPL test.
The back of them say - 250watts, but if you build the enclosure and get the right amp (High Current), and crossthem over at no more than 125hz, you can put a ton more power to them.
NOTE: THEY DO NOT LIKE PORTED BOXES!!!!
