Took my daughter Juliana (3yrs) with me today to get my car washed. It was great the guy hand washes it for me and dries it. Man this thing looks great when clean. 2 people asked me about the truck, always draws compliments! When leaving and turning out of the parking lot into the street I gave it a little gas, enough to get the back end out a 1/4 of the way! My daughter loved it, she was laughing, saying I was a race car driver. She kept saying do it again! do it again! I take being a father very very serious. So I said no.:( Well when we were on the highway she said do race car driver again. Well with no one around I slowed down and punched it from 40-90 mph. Here face was funny as heck, you know the scared but having a good time look(think roller coaster)! the when I got by my house I did a quick donut for her, she was begging me to keep doing more! I told her convince mom to pay for my tires and I will. Needless to say I had a great time with her. Danica you better watch out!!!:burnout:
The sad story is Sunday night I have to go to Chicago for work and will be gone till friday:mad: . 6 days away from my wife, my girls and my truck. Thankfully my parents are in town to help my wife for the week. But I am sad cuz I love seeing my girls everyday. Being a father is great, and I already am bummed about leaving. But saturday morning when I get back it's family time in dad's truck(wife in car = no fun) for a cruise!!! I will miss you boys too!!! just not as much:D well I just used all my words for the day!!! see ya in a week!

gotta love spending time with your daughter...i just got a call last night from my daughter, been over 6 months since i heard from her. I was supposed to have her for the summer last year year, when i finally got in touch with her she told me her and her mom moved to kansas. i havent seen her in over a year and a half.

Great story. Thanks for sharing. I have two daughters (16 & 11). I take them to dance class in the truck. When I nail the gas and give the tires a little chirp I yell "Viper Power". They think I'm crazy. Two more things, I used to yell "Hemi Power" (traded that truck for this one). And, when my girls are older, I doubt very much if the vehicles on the road will offer the type of raw, no excuses, power this one does, much like when I was young. :burnout: P.S. I hate traveling. I always miss my Family.

I agree, it's no fun being away from home.

I used to have assignments that kept me away from home for 3 or 4 months at a time. Spent a lot of time away from home while my daughter was growing up.:(

Maybe that's why I tend to spoil her so much now.:D

Hurry back.

Phew! No big deal then.

After reading the title, then the first story, I thought something bad happened that may have involved occifers of the law, or worse. That would've sucked!

Have a Safe Trip!:)
