sunnybeeches batman....just got off the phone with the guy from the stealership in ft lauderdale....he also has this one....99 gts-acr...9100mi...my peepee is getting all hard.he will sell this one for a couple thou more than the yellow 01.I THINK I LOVES THIS ONE.:rock: ITS GOT ME WROTE ALL THE HELL OVER IT.

For a second I thought that was a sapphire/silver stripe GTS ACR. I got a hard on for a moment too! I'd prefer the black/silver one myself. ACR is even more limited production.
Now when I had my snake I never thought about what it would be worth in the future (1 of 86 made) but thanks to Barrett-Jackson it started to enter my mind...so much that I drove it less and was afraid to seriously mod it because of its potential value down the line.
Not sure if you have thought about those things but seeing its an ACR you may want to think about it. The original ACR wheels alone are worth several thousand dollars right now!
What are all the extra stickers/decals, etc on the car next to "ACR"? I'd remove them if I were to purchase that car unless they signify a vendor who did the mods, if any were done.
Whats the asking price on that car? Be sure to have it looked over...both inside, outside, and the underside! I see some scrapes on the lower front facia from the pics.

I can get you the production numbers here in a minute. The ACRs come with smooth tubes (car rated at 460 hp vs 450 otherwise), 5 point harnesses, an option for radio and ac delete, adjustable shocks (pain in the ass), one piece wheels (worth quite a bit of dough right now), etc.

There were 98 black ACR's in '99, 53 of them did not have stripes, 45 did. So, I think you'd have one of 45 made in that color combo.
Only 9 ACR's (in '99) were built without A/C and Stereo Comfort Group.

Just noticed that the side marker lights look to be darked out. A list of mods done to the car would be nice too as well as who did the mods.

As far as things to look at or ask, I would inquire about how long the cars been sitting, when the fluids were last changed, how old the tires are (dont want to be going 100+ mph on 8 year old tires), are there any service recalls on it, if so have they been addressed and/or fixed. Check the color of the fluids and treadware on the tires...may indicate what kind of driving conditions the car was under, check the sidesills (underneath) for pitting, the tops of the sills for any cracking or peeling paint (silver cars generally yellow on top of the sills due to the heat). Any curve rash or imperfections on the BBS wheels.
With regard to the adjustable shocks, is the tool to adjust them with the car (some didnt get the tool when they bought used, it would be very nice to have). Does the dealership have the original window sticker, documentation, owners manual, etc. This will all help should you sell the car down the line.
Thats about all I can think of now. I mention these because they are the most common things that Viper owners tell potential owners when they are looking at getting another Viper. If I think of any other things I'll let ya know.
