Could someone please tell me how much fluid will be needed when I change out the transmission fluid and filter on my QC. I have just finished changing the engine oil and filter, and would like to change the trans fluid also. I have had the truck about 2 months now, and it has 29,000 miles on it. I just want to make sure it is kept up with maintenance as best as I can. I really need clarification on the trans fluid though because the dealership I purchased it from said they did all of the normal maintenance, oil, trans, diff, spark plugs. The only reason I question that they actually did is because the fluid, when hot, is just hitting, or only a little over the low point of the safe area on the dip stick. Is this normal on these trucks? Any input would be appreciated.
Also, this is my first post, I have been checking the site out for a few months now....great place. If you guys have any other advice for me, things to look out for, etc. feel free to post and let me know. I am stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY...anyone else around here??
