2005 Durango Key Fob problem

Key fob on 2005 Durango stopped working after disconnecting the negative battery terminal to reset a CEL. What's up with that?? Any ideas on this one? I don't see how disconnecting the battery messed up the fob. The fob worked fine before the battery was disconnected.

And no, I don't have the other FOB to reprogram the one with issues.

The solder connections on the FOB battery holder ground crack. Solder them back and you will be ok. Happened on both of mine.
