2006 Red or Red?

Hey Guys,

Looking for 2006 QC, it seems there is two Reds out there, one really Red, the other more Burgundy. Can someone tell me if the 2006 came actually in the variation of Reds and how to distinguish them other than the photos, I mean is it in the VIN or the specs sticker...?

The 2006 is Inferno Red and even in pics it should be obvious. It is a deeper, darker, metallic red. The 04 and 05's are bright red. In 2006, there were the following colors offered: Inferno Red, Brilliant Black Metallic, Black, and Mineral Gray. That's it. The Mineral Gray is not silver. It is a darker, deeper, metallic gray. The other major difference in 2006 was the interior and the front end was changed to accomodate the new head lights.

04 and 05 are Flame Red and 06 is Inferno Red as mentioned above. I cant remember which digit it is (5thi think) on the VIN that defines the original color.

There were some flame red 2006 models produced...probably early....but Inferno was the replacement color for flame red in 2006...
