I have been watching the History channel all week also, some of the shows have been very interesting.

I have known about the 2012 Mayan calendar for some time now. What I didn't know is how accurate that calendar has been thru history. They predicted every solar and lunar eclipse from their time on earth up until 2012. They predicted the exact day that the spanish would arrive in central america (they got it all correct also). The day (winter solstace) Dec 21, 2012 is the first day the sun will be in the Great Celestrial Alignment - which some astronomers say could be a really bad thing for Earth as there is a large black hole in the center of the Milky Way and this gravitational alignment may cause a huge Gamma Burst from the Sun

When you combine that with, I ching, Nostradamus (he specifically drew pictures that talk about the year with 3 eclipse events (only year that happens in recorded history is 2012) things are going to be interesting

What really gets me about all the talk and tv coverage is if it's true, what can we do? Nothing. Do they want the world to go into a panic? I hope it isn't true, but then again heaven ain't so bad. Ask anyone who has been there.....haven't found anyone who has?.......must be a great place:dontknow:

I put him in the same class as all of those 'spirit talkers'.

"Hmmm, I see you were very sad in the past...you lost a parent (as he gazes on at the grey haired 55 yr old) Did their name start with a G? " No...perhaps the person next to you...no, ok..somebody here lose a parent that the first name started with a g? Yes ?, they say they miss you."



How many times was he wrong ? Nostradamus was wrong alot...and wrote in a very vague and cryptic manner that could be interpreted a dozen different ways.

There are many books about the Mayan calendar and all the other past predictors....none of them have been correct....you can make anything something else. The History Channel special was great..but it was one sided..............I predict that a member on this forum will put his truck up for sale....
