Just had a crap fast downpour .. that ruins my clear coating the dakota roof ... wally had 1 can of clear only ... plusmi got the last can of black gloss to do touch ups before clear coating .. hotter and humid then the hills of hatties ,,, Makes for a no paint day even in the shade hahaha
Not the sun is blaring making it worse ,, the no see ums will be swarming around and wont be able to walk later .

Well look what I found for the dakota third brake light and getting the cargo lights to operate ... appears I need to replace the headlight switch that includes the cargo and not just say dome light .... ill be looking for those based on the part number the guy posted ..
Just to many things to do and then a flat in the construction zone. Slipped through the barrels, flew off a 12 inch slab of concrete with 18 inches of rebar sticking out of it. Exciting!!!
Damn guy ,,, film at 11 !

Glad you're still alive to post!! Hopefully it missed the oil pan and anything critical!
Decided to,clear coat the roof last night .. Damn it , the humidity and dew clouded the clear coat somewhat .. went out this morning and wet sanded with 2500 grit .. then ot rained hahahaha ! Went back out wiped the rain off the dakota and the suns has popped out .. my hope is the heat and sun will take out the cloudyness and moisture from the clearcoat ..
If it dosent then I will have to sand it with a more coarse wet sanding and then spray another coat of clear , which I had intended to do anyway ..
This maybe a continuing problem with the heat , rain and humidity in this hell hole of FL. Lol

I guess the good part is at least when it's raining you don't need to worry about water for wet sanding
In the arid desert region you don't need sandpaper just graba handful and good to go lol
Yeap ,, but the lighting capitol of the world forces you to learn the 2 step hahaha

Check Wallys again ,, No clear coat ..
The roof appears to be doing ok and cloudiness may be gone .. it will need a second coat to finish it ...
ran 4 times today and looks like another quick pisser coming .. this needs to stop , humidity needs to drop and the sun needs to lighten the heck up !
