2025 Project Post Ho Thread

Hopefully the 10 wont need the same treatment as the dakota .. only have a few minor things mention on here before to fix .. besides painting the damn thing hahaha ...
 
My list keeps growing and to many things im procrastinating on hahaha .. but thats the way Ive always been .. the procrasinating multi tasker hahaha
 
Im am a good amount slower than I use to be getting things done .. freaking health crap saw to that .. so im now like taking a multivitamin to get some thing finished ... 1 wheel at a time
 
You've done a lot getting that Dakota in shape over the last several months - winter included.
 
Clear back to fixing the compressor and dealing with the floor Jack lol

Doent hurt at all .. Just blood vessels leaking internally .. I didnt hit , bump or any type of impact .. just happened reaching down to remove and reinstall the plugs from a tight area ...as,long as it doesnt continue to get bigger or worse then it will heal ..

Compressor has been fixed and the floor jack was replaced ...
going to do plug wires cap and rotor next , tomorrow most likely ..
All is quality and the price for all was only $26.89 for the kit .

Most should have been done already .. not what Imuse to be or be able to do ,,, thats forsure ... Just call me SLOOOOW MOTION now hahaha !

No no no ,,, fight to the end hahaha never surrender .. well at least never admit it hahaha
 
Did the plug wires cap and rotor .. hopefully it hasnt added to my arms internal bleeding .. ill know in a short time if they get worse ..
ill tell you the plugs and the wires , distributor are tight to change .. its like playing blind mans bluff ..
got them all done but did suspect I crossed wires on numbers 4 and 6 . Started the truck and it ran , no popping but sounded a little funny , idle was smooth ,,, I did smell gas looking at the engine .. something not right .. checked the firing order and yep crossed 4 and 6 passenger side back 2 .. fixed them and it ran great ..
Those parts have been on the truck since new is my guess , like everything else almost .. at 150k miles or so , i think it will help hahaha even as good as it ran with the old parts ... Ill keep them for back ups jst because a a freaking pack rat hahaha .

The parts are a bit crusty and dirty ,,, the rotor was tight as heck to get off ..
But heck for $26.89 and less that a hour of my time .. Im good for another 150k miles or more ...hahaha

And yes always keep the old parts! When you can't get another one Someday those will be there :cool:

Its definately running better that it ever has ...which wasnt bad to begin with at all .. i need to check the mpg and see if its better than the last time I checked it when I first bought it .. i think it got 14.3 to 14.7 ...which IMO stinks for a small no frills , 5 speed 3.9 6 cylinder .. i beleeive the factory mpg rating was in the 14's ..
 
Got a bunch of books bound today, now I have to get them on the web. but not this weekend, still printing and writing forwards
 
Working on the 2004 Black CC now, by the end of the day, all 2004 books will be done
