1 1971 Challenger RT, 1 2008 SRT8, 1 2009 SRT8, 3 2009 RTs.....1 of the red and 1 black RT are 6 spds.........I drove the auto RT...probably better I dont drive an SRT8......too tempting....................I noticed the 6spd RT has 3.92 LSD rear....wonder how this will do at the track over the auto with electronic traction control?......they had a blue 6spd but sold it before I got back with a camera....

when are you going to buy your own??:dontknow:

in about 1-2 yrs.....I will buy an SRT8 garage queen with less than 3K miles and save $10K to $15K......enough to stroke it to a 426 CI and maybe a blower...:D

Too bad it's somebody else's heaven

I hear that, the mark up on those things is ridiculous. A blown 426 would be one sweet ride.

I so want a '09 SRT-8 Challenger. I've been keeping the mileage low on my 300SRT and stock as possible so that it can get traded. But I'm not interested in paying the 10-15k mark up. I have patience, so I'll wait a bit longer.

My dealer goes out of his way to take care of customers but he has gotten caught up in the "market adjustment" poop. He has an $8K markup on the RTs and $10K on the SRT. He sold the first 08 SRT for $20K over but is stuck with the 2nd one. I told him he better take what he can get for the 08 before the 09s arrive. Now he has a showroom full of 09s and several more due in soon. The 08 will be a yr old when you sign the papers..

The owner offered me a deal to trade for the 08 (not a good deal)...I told him he was wanting too much and i really dont want to trade my truck...he said you have to remember the 08 is a "numbered" car..........I reminded him that my truck is a numbered vehicle too.....and it is 87 of 400...not XX of 6,400....he said he had forgotten that...:D

How about 20.000 dollar markup, that is what there asking for a viper ACR at huntington beach dodge, total price 130,000...........ouch!

I keep telling you fellas, if yuns want a challenger or viper, my good ol boy will do ya right, no upcharge or any of that other crap:D

Today, while I was at my local Dodge dealer, they had a 09 R/T with a 6 speed, Black, sunroof, SRT style wheels, etc., loaded for $39K, sticker. They seemed willing to let it go for sticker (or less?).

Just ordered an '09 SRT 8 with a 6 speed manual in Hemi Orange @ Warnock in Morristown, NJ for sticker price. I sold my NR Quad Cab to someone overseas on Ebay. It was a pleasure being an SRT 10 owner but I couldn't resist the Chally.

Hate to see ya get rid of the 10 but you are definitely getting a worthy replacement.....the black SRT in the showroom winks at me everytime I walk in..;)

You think the mark up is high down there, you should see the price they are charging up here, guys were paying almost $80k when the first SRT-8 came out,You can buy a ACR Viper up here for $128 CDN so knock off 20% for exchange (aprox. -$25K) so $103K.
