325 on stock rear wheel

This discussion came up this weekend...putting 325's on a stock rear wheel, good or bad idea??? Might help with our traction issues, but wonder if it's a bit too wide at the speeds we run :dontknow:

I'm not smart enough so wanted to poll the gallery....

Only got 3k miles, tires should last at least 12k.....Joe and I were discussing this, just curious if anybody tried :dontknow:

He seems to think it wouldn't work well, while I lean towards thinking it might not be such a stretch....I know you have larger on the rear, but didn't you go with bigger wheels???

You need to look at the tire manufactures specifications for the tire you want to use. Its been a few months since I purchased tires for mine but I looked at doing that and found several 325 were actually same/narrower overall then stock 305's. Manufactures will also state what size rim and again several 325's showed ok for 10" rim

Mine are on 11 inch rims, however I was told by the same place that sold me my wheels and tires that you could run the Perelli 325's on the 10 inch rim.

all ready seen 325's on 10's at my shop.

Marc, I gotta tell ya, your wheels look so nice. That pic is so big, it really shows them off well. I am not a big fan of aftermarket wheels, but those black ones are very very nice.

Patrick P.M. your address to me and I will send you a couple. I had a couple left after I did the SRT 1 on the golf cart. They are SRT-10 and in vinyl so you can modify them to your liking.

They will but the sidewalls will bulge out a good bit.

We had a member long ago on the NFFF site that put 325/55-22 B.F. Goodrich T/A KDW-2's on his truck. He was from Alaska and wanted the ground clearance that the tire height provided.
