4.10 & 4.88 carrier differences?

Bring that I've gotta swap all the clutches and internals from the 4.10 carrier to the 4.88 carrier, what's the difference between them?

I belive the difference is where the ring gear ends up left to right once installed in the housing

Too bad no one makes a better locker/posi units for our rear ends.

The ring gear mating surface is about a 1/4 inch offset.
