I am going to remove the 4.56 gears from my truck and will be selling them
(or trading them :dontknow: )

Not sure what to ask for them, but I am open to offers.

Maybe $250 + shipping :dontknow:

Also ,I can sell the 4.10's with them or separately

:D

yep................4.88

thanks for letting me drive your truck
it made a believer out of me

4.88's
M&H slicks
150 shot of N20
B&M shifter

and new clutch

And I said "thanks " ? I just realized......you are the reason I am going to be spending another $1500 :D

How much for the 4.10's..............

will they fit in a QC?

As far as I know the RC and QC have the same rear end :dontknow:
(send a PM to Stinker and ask him to be sure .No sense in buying something you can't use)

I'll let ya have the 4.10's for $225 shipped

Being a complete idiot when it comes to gear ratios,What would 4.10's do for a Q/C ?? What if you went the other way to 4.88's??Q/C's have 4.56 stock dont they?

I don't know :dontknow:  :dontknow:

The RCs have a six speed with a pretty high OD (6th)
not sure what the ratio is in a QC trans or rear

Ask Stinker or post a question separately
you'll have LOTS of answers :D

I'm in the process of buying a roe'd QC. With all of the problems with traction, I thought that with all of the added low end torque the roe gives. I could lower the torque multiplication at the axle and maybe not spend so much on tires :dontknow: :burnout:

All the 4.10's seem to do is offer up higher speeds at the top end.. I've taken mine as far as 163 mph, and lemmie tell ya.. That is really unnecessary. The 4.56's will tone that down some while offering better acceleration instead. The 4.88's give an even better kick. You may lose some gas milage though. I remember going to PCB both Ironhead and I needed to fuel up at the same times. Now that he went with the shorter gear set I noticed that on the way to Macon his fuel was being consumed quicker than mine. I got Iron's 4.56's that I will install eventually; I haven't decided yet.

Nelson, just make sure after you install the 4.88's that you have your local Dodge dealership calibrate your speedo and all else to match your new gears so that you will get the correct readings when driving.

No problem with speedo, it will correct itself. The only time the speedo needs correction is with taller or shorter tires.

the only thing you need to do is they adjustred the antilock brakes, some have installed gears and did nothing ,,mark did not have his brakes changed and it works fine ,,mine was at dealer they did it since it was already there

But Ironhead paid extra for the calibration..
