4.88's installed

Well finally had the 4.88 gearing installed at Unitrax. I am still breaking the gears in but as soon as that is done I will let you guys know the difference. One thing for sure is definitely more shifting. I am planning to run it at Famosa next week or LACR before that.
I paid $775 for the gears and install. If you're interested talk to Devin at Unitrax.

Yeah they had to change the carrier. He told me the price for the 4.88's with carrier is $385~425 depending on what you need. He also said the 4.56's are a little cheaper.

just like a new clutch...take it easy for the first 500miles then change the oil....after that:burnout:

Ran into some problems with getting parts in....Why vendors send parts out incomplete is beyond me:dontknow: Needless to say, I don't want to rush it at this point. I think I'll race Mas I want to get a 12 at Famoso too...I think we'll be a good race. I would call you out but it'd be kinda cruel to beat you with my sisters car

I paid $395.00 and my car sponsor put them in...4.5 hours.
