I do like fruit in my beer. But Key Limes are my fruit of preference with Corona, but they are not easy to get this time of the year in Illinois.

(By the way Corona is 51% owned by Anheuser-Busch, but they did not purchase US distribution rights, so it is patriotic to drink it today.)

And this may be the last year the Anheuser-Busch is an American owned beer...

You can get Key Lime juice ya know. It should be next to the original "Realime" in the Super market.

OMG I ate like a pig.. My uncle brought over his brother in law.. Now don't get offended guys if I say he's 100% red-neck, but he sure is and damn proud of it. He's one cool fellow reminding me of Stinker since this guy is a truck driver too. Anyway, today was the first time I witnessed a pure bred red-neck come in looking for beer and leaving trying to drink every last drop of Margarita he can.. I think I converted him. This guy left giving me a hug before tipping out the front door.

The Brazilian style bar-b-que was a hit. I know I should have done good 'ol Texas bar-b-que today, but I couldn't help going all out today for the occassion. I wish ALL you guys were here. I hope everyone had a safe 4th. I still have to go to downtown Houston to watch the fireworks display with my daughter tonight...

I rode in our local parade and then stopped by the car show afterward. The wife and I went to see the fireworks and basically just had a good time spending yesterday together. Here are some pics of the parade and car show. You just never know what some of these old guys will pull out of their barns around here.
