5 cylinder Viper truck?

The Hemi 5.7 runs on 4...:dontknow:

Yeah I've been in a Charger that drops 4 cylinders cruising. Just the first Viper truck I've seen with it. I'd love to have that ability.

I seriously doubt that it would be hard on the engine. So long as the firing sequence works smoothly with the crank rotation, and it's happening when the engine is under the lowest possible load.

If you are going by the digital info screen above the windshield I got 28.6 going to the Nooga GTG....but I really doubt that was true...;)
No joking .. I really do get that cruising @1500 rpm ( no real hills:D );)

If I drive like Ma Kettle the best I can get is around 12 to 13. Get off the highway and drive around. 9 to 10 average. Damn 4 speed!!!!

I am not joking about the 28.6...that was what my info center showed..my true mileage was probably 15-16..........i am just saying if you are using the info center on the truck overhead then your actual mileage is probably a lot less......if you manually calculated it that is one of the best I have seen...

I really have calculated miles vs gallons manually:) Thats strictly unpolluted highway miles BTW.. 60-65 mph max grade 3-4 %

I dont doubt you did..especially given level ground and staying under 65....I have gotten as high as 19 staying uner 75mph.....gets better mileage than my wife's Durango.....:)

How complicated would it be to make a kit with one switch that would shut

off five cylinders?:dontknow:

.

Let's see you get that at 5000 feet and nothing but mountains

11.8 here, but I did get 13.6 avg on my last road trip
