Heard an advertisement on the radio this morning for the new 2012 ram 1500. Said ram was only truck in its class with a 5 link rear suspension with coil overs. Thats pretty badass for a OEM suspension setup. Anyone have a link with a pic of it?

If the 5 link is setup properly that would make a great foundation for the 8.4 Viper :burnout:

what a fella could do is put that set-up on a 04-06 ram srt-10, like they do with the 99 stang irs?

the irs is in the cobras 03-04 and some of the other mustangs swap them in there cars. Cobra guys swap them out for a solid 8.8 since its cheaper and better for drag racing. They loose ride quality and handling but gain strength and parts are alot cheaper.

i have a lot of twisty highways. I hate the wieght shift at speed. wondering which way to go to improve handling.

Time to quit being bone stock.

Lower the ride height so your center of gravity height is lower, then add a Helwig rear sway bar.

This gets rid of the majority of that "oh crap" feeling when you change lanes at high speed, and makes the truck much more manageable in the corners.

I am hesitant to lower as I noticed I won't be able to parallel park when I have a passenger etc.

Would just adding the hellwigs' add the firmness I need>?

I also think I am having issues with my rack and pinion.
