6.1 pistons and rods

So with the new Viper engine punched out .030" to be able to run the 6.1 HEMI pistons and rods to give a 6,000 plus limit.

Is that all we need to do, to run a 6.1 Piston and Rod?

Is the Piston and Rod assembly of a 6.1 lighter than the Viper 8.3?

And why the hell didn't they go with a hemi head? Space?

I certainly hope you are not wanting to use the Factory Pistons and rods?

They are very weak. The only thing stout about the 6.1 Block is the Forged Crank.

EED is going bigger than that now, there making 8.5L motors...
