6 speed QC swap

I just thought of another scenario. Check you rear end yoke. Remove caps from u joints and see if u joint moves in yoke tabs/ears. I have had to replace mine before years ago while I still had a two piece driveshaft.
 
I'll 2nd that one. Had a 1991 xj With a similar problem. One of the little yoke ears was missing (long story). If I took a punch and tapped the U joint over I would be vibration free for a little while.
 
I'll have a look at that. The truck is a very low miler - 23,000 so I would be surprised but you never know.
I'll get it sorted one way or another and report my findings.
I work in Motorsport and right now free time is at a premium. Come November I'll have all the time in the world so will dedicate a week to sorting the issue.

I wish my 2 post ramp would lift it fully, that would make my life so much easier....
