Anything can be done. The question is... how much $$$$$$ is it gonna cost ya?

You might not want to. Allot of the diesel guys are pulling them and installing the 48re's. They say they are stronger when built and due to no electronics make them more adaptable. The six speeds are computer controlled. Although it would be nice to have some more gears.

Just like noid said. Coming from a Cummins background, people are swapping them out for 48's
