727 WITH GEAR VENDORS O/D

So what i have for sale is a 727 disassembled everything but the case is new or rebuilt, at this time waiting to go back together. I also have a gear vendors unit with under 500 miles on it. This setup in a lighter vehicle would be killer! Its just not going to work in my 5400lbs race weight truck.

Gear vendors over/under drive unit:
Under 500 miles
Includes foot or push button switch for manual operation.
Control box
manual auto switch
Yoke
Tail shaft housing for 727.
I also have 2 aluminum drive shafts that i had made for my application at 500 dollars a piece i will trow in one if you can use it in your application.

Rebuilt items by TCi:
Reverse manual vale body
2800 stall torque converter.

New items from CRT.
1 x 727 Ultimate Sprag
1 x 727 Bushing -Master Kit
1 x 727 Washer -Master Kit
1 x 727 4.2 Lever
1 x 727 Billet Aluminum Front Servo
1 x 727 Billet Aluminum low/rev servo
1 x 727 Rear Roller Support
1 x 727 Rebuild Kit-Race Max HP
1 x 727 Modified Pump Support 727
1 x 727 3 Pinion Front Planet w/Bearing
1 x 727 Heavy Duty Band Strut 2nd gear
1 x 727 Teflon Sealing Ring Kit
1 x 727 4 pinion low gear set with bearing
AND ONE OR TWO OTHER THINGS.

That might work nicely in my '68 Charger.;)

I'd consider the trans, but I have a console shifter that would be a bear to modify for a reverse pattern.

Only the position of the 321 change to 123 PRN stay the same.

What are the guys with the 440's and 426 lx cars running?

My car weighs 4600 lbs and that 5 speed has taken A TON OF ABUSE FROM ME.

I Beat the living shit out of our maggie, She says "HURT ME GUNTHER...........MAKE ME BLEEEEEEEEDDDDD!!!!!"

And I do!
 
Oh i wanna go fast just dont want to build a trans every month.

The 727 is a beast of a trans if i just shifted 123 and then o/d there would be no problem, but i bought it to split the gears. Problem is when i shift into 1st over it wants to rip the sprag out of the trans. 3000 lbs vehicle no problem my 5400 truck makes it that much worse. The 727 i am building or selling now is two parts away from safely being abel to handle pulling the wheels on a car with no problem. But it will not last if i shift how i want to and need to if the truck is going to perform.

Lx cars are using The nag1 but same problem there not going to handle the extra weight with the power in front of it.
