73 in a 55

My 2nd day of driving to the base and I got hit with the laser. 73 in a 55, expired inspection and no front plate. My laser detector never went off. Luckily I was able to hide it before the motorcycle cop caught up with me. Virgina troopers are pretty tough but somehow I talked my way out of all of it. I got lucky but 55 on a 4 lane highway is just too slow.
 
Wow! Close call. You need to write a book you silver tongued devil. I've always heard that the Virginia boys don't play. Congrats.

Same thing happened to me the other day.....used a merging lane as my passing lane and did about 55 in a 35...undercover investigation unit pulled me over and let me go...:rock:

What brand of detector do you have? Just curious. You are very lucky.:rock:
 
Was that you I saw pulled in Chesapeake between Indian river rd and greenbriar? The 2 wheeler was working it hard the other day.

That was me. I was North bound on 64 and just North of Indian River. He was hiding under the bridge at Indian River. It was around 9am.

I hated the front plate, inspection stickers, and the crappy cops :(
 
lucky you my first speeding ticket was 120 in a 55:eek: man was that a way to learn :( i dont speed that bad anymore

well its was 3 but i was 3 hours from my house so the LEO wasn't an asshole about it he jsut said nice truck but u gotta keep it under 90 on this highway :D

so a $500 ticket and i went on my way :dontknow:

and now i dont speed more than 20 over and i learned my lesson :congrats:
 
Welcome back to VA!!!! Be careful you have been away for a while. They will give you 10mph but 15 over and they will pull you. In VA 20 MPH over is Reckless Driving......

WOW, I'm glad I don't live in Virgina.

Get the escort ZR4 laser jammer. the will be illegal in about 6 months and they work great. Pisses them off every time, they throw the gun down and us the regular rader. Worth the money. combined with either the escort 8500(which i have) or the 9500 best one out there. Laser detectors suck by time it alerts you its to late, the jammer scrambles the signal and gives you time to adjust speed, then you hit the off button so he can lock on .
 
I took a trip in the 10 last Sat down the PA turnpike, had the Escort riding shotgun and damn glad I did, I got hit by 5 different leo's K band's... :( No tickets though thanks to the Escort:rock:

they don't work.... if you're targeted, your busted......:( best bet is to slowwwwww down. :)

I can't buy it here since they are illegal. Wouldn't a jammer let the cops know that I had one?
 
When I was a young lad in the service,My military I.D. got me out of a few tickets,But Va. is a tough state.I,ve received a couple of speeding tickets there,as well as Ga.,S.Carolina,N.Carolina,Fl.,Delaware,N.J.,N.Y.,D.C.,Ohio,Pa. and a few other places That I probably forgot!!!:D
