80s chevy 4x4

Guys, i'm in the market to buy a used chevy truck. Looking for a
longbed 4x4 single cab preferably from 1980-86 with a 350.. gotta be
pretty damn close to stock as i don't need anything with 6" lift etc etc...
I've checked craigslist but i was wondering if you guys might have seen
or heard about something like i'm looking for. I'm located in Northern VA :rock:

theres a few around here - the body are for shit - but they got good 350 " worked " in them

not really but i already got one shortbed :rock: i'm mainly concerned
with body condition.. If the body is crap i don't have alot of time to fix
it. I don't mind changing out the dash or weatherstripping or even
trying to get cab corners re-done from being rusted out but the less the
body damage the better.. Also i can't go over 3500 I almost had my
mitts around one down in fayetteville NC for 2800 that was exactly what
i wanted but apparently the guy sold it yesterday

dude that truck is pretty sweet but way out of my league lol.. Just need
a good winter truck with 4x4 for the snow and crap in Rochester during
the school year.. I thought about going Ford but i had a 81 f250 i dropped a
460 in and i had so many problems with it i never want to go that route
again..

There are a lot of 80's Fords in Cali for cheap ( I have an 83 f350) the only trouble I really have had is that POS Ford/ Holley carb. Bought new in 83........26 years can't complain. Still passes smog :rock:
