A narp (short for "intake narp") is a valve under your intake that controls differential pressure and vacuum flow across your intake valve. It is critical that your narps be properly calibrated to your engine displacement.
While the original Mopar ones are....okay, Boomers hardened titanium ones were so much better. I felt the improvement immediately. Well worth the money.

"Yeah...I had one fail in the middle of a run..I gave Boomer a shout and had a set of his installed and they made a world of difference. If I had it to do over again it would be one of my first mods!! Give him a call guys he'll set you up...812-453-4862

Best I got was when I drove it home from Nashville to Toledo, 18.1. I think I could have made it on a tank, but I would have been on fumes, filled up 80 miles south of Toledo.

Cool thing about Boomers Narps is how simple the install was. I got the polished titianium model......air flows more freely now. Love it!

only problem is they sell so fast they are out of stock. i wouldnt trade mine for anything. the way it makes the cam lope at idle is amasing.

The day I picked up my Black SRT 10 I drove from Kansas City to Omaha in a 60 degree day with a 30 mph tail wind and got 18.7 mpg. It has been downhill since then, but who's counting.

I don't drive my truck on the highway often. Today I was driving on the highway and found the mpg on highway was 9? I thought it was supposed to be 9 in the city and 15 on the highway?? Is there something wrong or what?

I believe I maintained somewhere around 16.3 to 17.3 Hwy average before the SC... however, that was with a better tune, headers, ect on it:D .

Finished one side:
Here are the NARPs before and after (side by side). Sweet aren't they!!:rock::rock::rock::rock:
