9 qt's ?

:dontknow: Does any one else have to put in 9 quarts of oil instead of 8 listed in the book? I have allways changed my own oil and filter and allways need 9 quarts to get it to the fourth star on the dipstick...

yep. 8.5 brings it to the 5th star. 9 qts. on a change. needs 1 qt. @ 3,000 miles. so always get 10 qts

Mine takes 9 too. Always check cause these engines tend to use a little along the way.
