yeah no joke... im not lookin forward to takin off all the plumbing and wires. imma git different color maskin tape so i know whats where.

use simple green it will clean right up

i was thinkin brake cleaner. its mostly dirt from the gravel roads and wipes off with a finger. i figure if i soak it and scrub with a little steel wool it will do wonders. it'll be wierd seein all the old paint under the grime.

You can sand it down. That's what I did at first with my intake maniflold. Went from 280 to 3000 sand paper. It looked like chrome.

i was thinkin wire brush haha if you look there is a coat of oxidation on the aluminum thats gonna be a biatch to git through...:chain:

I'd use rim cleaner before I would use a wire brush

To clean the engine use simple green, don't use brake cleaner it'll eat all the rubber hoses on your engine. To polish the intake right you'll have to take it off, if you have a dremel it'll help. Start with rough sand paper then finish with fine grit. You'll have to do the finish sanding by hand but would look good once done
