96 Indy Dodoge vs Srt-10

This happened awhile back but I figured I would share. A kid in my neighborhood has been working on modding his Indy edition Ram. He deleted the cats put headers and side exit exhaust under pass door, and cut out about everything he could think of for weight. Anyway I figured I would run him one day.

Well as luck would have it I pulled out of the hood one day right behind him and eventually made it out to the highway about a mile away. I pulled up next to him and he shook his head NOOOOO!!! I laughed and said come on lets go. Well, light turned green my tires were ice cold and the lane I was in (not known at the time) had sheit all over the road. Broke loose, got out of it, rolled back in, smoked emm, backed out, rolled in again and started to go sideways, and that was it, shut it down.

He knew what happened b/c he saw the smoke and wagging tail in his rear-view as he tore down the highway. So he got an SRT-10 kill and I got a lesson in cold tires and marbles in the roadway. Driver error, whoops!!!

I didn't talk trash but yes, I got a big ole piece of humble pie. Hmmm, not so yummy!

It was not a slouch. Since then he put in a Cam and a tune but left an oily rag under the hood while adjusting lifters and torched the passenger side of the motor, warped the hood, cracked the winshield, and fire dept cracked open the dash. SRT-10 brought back hood and dash from junkyard so he could put it back together for another day.

while these(indy and sst's) aren't matches for the srt's, with mods they aren't to bad,i've had a couple of them

dont worry about it, lost to a m3 the other day :dontknow: he beat the driver gave him 2 or more on the bad start, missed a gear, just plain screwed everything up ohhh well, just waiting for one of his buddies now to think the srt is a pushover
