............to Jack and the rest of the Randy Walls funny car team.

Jack works as crew member on Randy's team and they were up in the Seattle area this weekend for a race. Jack called me and invited me to come out and join them for the day on Saturday.

Talk about a great group of people. They all made me feel right at home.

Unfortuneately they had bad luck. First off was the weather in the festering shithole. Yep. They traveled all this way to have the race finally rained out. I know, here it is mid-August and it rains. Festering Shithole.

On the one run they got in on Saturday between rain showers they have an oil problem. Seems like the oil did not want to stay in the engine. What a mess that was. They were busy trying to clean everything up when I left.

Anyway, just wanted to once again thank Jack and the Randy Walls team for a memorable day. Hopefully they will make it up here again next year and the weather will be nice.
 
glad you had a good time....did you drive the Cobra to the track?.....

Hope Jack drinks some Redbulls before that 14 hour drive home...:mad:

Have not seen you in person since Bakersfield......:(

It was worthe the drive just to get a chance to talk to you face to face............:D

I was great to see you again and the new SRT-8 Jeep.

Nathan (Notr a Hemi was in Seattle and came by the track for a while but could not stay due to time constraints. (Good to see you Nathan, and meet your friend Bill). Thanks for coming by......:rock:

We lost an expander in a 3 piece oil ring. Blew 60WT Synthetic Racing oil everywhere. Blew off the burn down tube hoses. (AKA breather to catch can hoses on a giant scale)...........:confused: .................:mad: ....................:(

Ah well that's Nitro Hot Rod racing................:D ................:) ...................:burnout:

It was 1285 Miles fron my place to the track and the drive took 20 hours.

Coming home it rained for the first 400 miles. I now know why you call it a festering S$%^ hole. When the sun was out Saturday morning it was absolutly georgous. I was thinking you were full of it. No, it is major icky and depressing a lot of the time.

I would like to see more of Seattle and the area as it looked quite beautiful.

I am off to bed as I am pooped and am going to sleep most of the day Monday.

The red truck got 15.3 MPG at 80-95 MPH over the 2600 miles of the trip.
Changed the oil last tuesday and I will probably be changing it again before the end of the week.

I love to drive that truck......................

Was not...............:p .....:p .....:p

Just siphoning a small amount into a burette with a hose from a 5 gallon fuel jug, to test/check/mix percentage of Nitro.

I have gotten some in my mouth doing that in the past and it is just awful........:toilet: . I spit and complain a lot...............:hmpf:
