I know its a hemi but I know most of you guys are very technically knowledgeable about engines so I though I would give it a go. WHat should I be at?? just curious my aeroforce gauge is sitting at 9.6 and thats with a sct tune for 93 octance, long tube headers hi flow cats and non foulers on the o2 sensors, I thought it was supposed to be higher and just wondering if the nonfoulers are causing it to lean out, the gauge is not a wideband it just reads the obd port so its what the computer thinks it is. thanks for any input:rock:

mid 12s would be good but I wouldnt go by you gauge.....I would always have a dyno done anytime a tune is installed....just a "be safe than sorry" IMO..

that is WAY off. do yourself a favor. go buy a autometer or AEM wideband O2 gauge and sensor package, then go down to the local exhaust shop and have them weld in a new bung for it. MAKE SURE it is on the TOP of your exhaust pipe, not in the side or bottom. VERY important. i dont know if you have dual exhaust or not, if you do, have it installed in the passenger bank, thats the hot side on hemi's, if you have a single exhaust, have it put just behind where both pipes meet. ]this will give you a true reading and if it really is 9.6 you cant drive it. you will wash your rings right out of it. 9.6 means WAY too much fuel. 9.6 is basically, for easier terms, 9.6 parts oxegen for 1 part fuel. lower then number, higher fuel, higher number, leaner its running. a good place to be is between 12-13 at all rpm's at wide open throttle. too much fuel you will wash the rings and cylenders out, too lean and you burn the rings out from too much heat.

well I guess Ill go get the wideband sensor kit for my gauge andget an answer, thanks for the input guys

Bet you are going to see a difference with the wide band...its the only way to go IMO.
