ok got the a/f guage installed it is the aem one ,,,question is what is the calibration setting suppose to set at ,,,anyone else install this gauge and if so what setting are you using ,,p0, is the default but guage bounes a lot ,,,after reading instructions i think im more confussed,,if im reading this right i need to put it on the p3 setting ,,,p3 says it emulates the autronic wideband o2sensor calibration ,,???????????????????????????????

at idle it goes from 12 to 15.5 if i give it the gas it goes down but it is all over the place i cant seem to get any steady reading ,,,with the key on and not running it sits at around 14.5

Mine skips all over hell when you first start her (warming up). I get the same reading with just key on. I could see it jumping a couple tenths of a point, but jumping 2-3 whole points after everything has warmed up seems a little odd.. Lemme see if I can find the pamphlet that came with mine and I'll try to refresh my memory.. BTW, happy birthday

at idle or at cuise it will bounce a good bit , the pcm is tryin to keep the engine at perfect fuel air, which is about 14.7-1

so it will bounce all over at idle and cruise
\
Where the guage works best is at full throttle, say do a pull from a low rpm in say third or fourth to say 5000 to 5500 rpms .

under a full constant throttle it will pull a constant vacuum and the guage will stay at a steady rate. you dont want to go much higher than say a 12 or 13 rate, much higher than that and you start running lean, too lean

ok after screeming up and down hwy 6 for a test run the a/f reads at over3500 rpm drops around mid 12s ,,at around 4000 plus it drops to low 11s to 12.2 or so ,,slamming it to 5000 plus it will be in the low11s and 10s ,,,does this sound ok ,,at idle after a good warm up it bounses between 14.2 to 15.5 and sometimes it pegs out to 16 ,,,,

yeppers. That sounds a little better.. Sound more like you were just a cold engine trying to warm up, they skip around a bit... If your on a stock ECM calibration (tune), it'll get rich as hell under a full pull (low to high RPM in a good gear). Just my opinion, but I think chrysler set it rich as hell to keep it safe (no need to be that rich on a N/A motor).

i got a new question ,,,does any one have the gauge bottom out on the lean side and show just dashes when you let off a hard acceleration

Depends on the tune...mine did that before my last tune....

i have the b&g stage 2 sct tune,,so should i call and get a new tune sent that is a tad richer

Not a problem if this happens....the PCM is just shutting off fuel when coasting...probably a good idea..

only problem now is im almost out of things i can mod with out going s/c or turbo ,or nitros,,lol
