This is for those of us that had the privilage of meeting Ernie, the crazy Canadian. With all the posts about the NFFF I decided to go and pay the shithole site a visit. Seen this and felt bad for Ernie.

Had my truck stolen from a parking lot late last month. Insurance company figures I was targeted and they simply waited for an opportune moment.

To say the least I was absolutely pissed! All that work and money to get me over 600 rwhp. The only saving grace is that I had replacement cost insurance on it. That will cover my original purchase but not all the extras that I put into it.

As for a new vehicle, I had a serious dilema as to what I would buy next without giving up too much horsepower. There were no trucks at any of the dealers here in Vancouver and I was unwilling to wait several months to get another one. In fact, I had such a bad experience with the dealership here I wasn't all that interested in going back to a Dodge product.

So last week I took my wife's Jaguar in for a small service and figured I would check out their used cars (they are also the dealership for Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Rover and Bentley). I spotted a 2005 model of the car of my dreams. It had only 7,500 kms on it and it works out to just $450 more per month than my truck payments were. The picture below is a file photo, but mine is the same color with a black interior.

I probably won't be back to this site too often, but I would like to say thanks to all those that provided me with friendship, insight and loads of technical advice.

Best of the Holiday Season to everyone!

John,

Ernie should know that, even though these aftermarket parts were attached to his car and not covered by his automotive policy, that they are quite probably covered by his homeowners insurance policy..... That is, if he has homeowners insurance.

Most anything that is your property and not subject to coverage under the auspicies of another insurance policy is usually covered under the heading of household items, and as such, is an item of property protected against theft.

Tell Ernie to call his homeowners insurance agent about it.....
