A good deal?

I sold the 997TT....but I kind of miss the P-Car...so I saw this and was wondering if it was a good deal?.....How's the truck?

Real good. I will be a Joe's in 2 weeks for the tuning. I think Joe is really looking forward to it. I just mentioned if he knew someone closer to me that he trusted to do the tune, and he about jumped thru the phone and slapped me. He said "HE" wanted to see what he could get from her. :rock:

So do you have anything right now??

hell yeah. stop on by. I was going to stay over Friday night and have Joe point me to the local "hangouts"..... just to make sure the tune was good... you know....

I did not tell anyone....nor did I make a big deal out of it but I did sell the TT Viper......the car was perfect in everyway....I found myself pushing it harder and harder each time I took it out.....I did several 180+ mph pulls....and I wanted more...so one day I did a 3 to 4 to 5th.....said 220 on the speedo.....but I am sure it was around 210+.......I hit the brakes to slow down.....got slowed down and as soon as I was 75 an officer on a motorcycle hit me.....I was legal.

This made me think....one of two things were going to happen....1. I would go to jail for that kind of speed....or 2. I would kill myself or others pushing the car past my abilility.....so I sold it...:(

Yeah, I'm from here originally and about a year ago I decided it was time to get out of telecommuncations after 35 years. I bought a sign shop in Fayetteville and I'm back home. I'm having a ball and going broke...LOL!!!

You from here too? I was in Tulsa the other day at the Cherokee Casino turning in a sign bid, I thought about you, but didn't know how to get a hold of you.
 
that sucks walt... what kida bux did you get out of it.. i know many ppl would have loved to purchace that car... but yes i can see your point of pushing untill well something pushesback and your dead.. so sucks to see it go but possibly a good thing as well...

Well let's just say I lost some $$....but in the long run it is all good.....I got a Harley somthing I have wanted for a long time...LOL.

Steve, I went to HS in Paris, AR.....did college in Conway at University of Central Arkansas.....Have several friends in Little Rock.....I may retire in AR someday.....once a razorback always a razorback...LOL.

Yeah, it kinda sticks with you doesn't it. Next time I'm in Tulsa, I'll give you a holler and we'll meet up for a beer of coffee or something.

Sorry about letting that out of the bag, I thought most knew by now!

I would have loved a ride in it. Selling it is a serious reflection in maturity, but man just to feel how that thing was pulling from 100-180 must be insane!
