Had a little race yesterday. Believe the other guy was in an older Chevy truck but hard to tell as all badges were removed cept a badge on the front fender and tail gate that had been added. Right in front of the door was an emblem that I have never seen (sorry could not read it at the speed we were traveling). It was about 10’ long and 2’ high with some red in it. I was driving about 75 mph when he came up beside me and wanted to race. We hit the gas and I pulled away rather nicely before having to let off for traffic. Down the road he came again and this time I pulled a couple of lengths ahead and slowly kept adding distance between us. :rock::rock::rock: 2 exits down he left the interstate never to be seen again. :dontknow: Won’t tell the speed I hit before shutting it down for fear of someone whining but needless to say it was well over the century mark. Can tell ya one thing, his truck was not stock, just had too much pull, lowered, custom wheels and sound for a factory build.
Ya gotta love our 10’s even in a 310 mile road trip back home each week. Seems now that I have my truck I look at every car/truck around me to see who might what to “play.â€
Later I passed a Maserati on the North Dallas Toll way but the driver was an old man that did not want to play. Probably good thing for me but it would have been fun to watch even if from his backside.
