a Q on c/e stripin for ppl who have them

ok ima get dem done the truck but im not to shure if i want to paint them or vynal them on which one have u guys done and wat looks better ?

But decals can be changed much easier if you so desire !!!I paid a whole $250 for mine,and if I want something different,it won't take as much hassle or time to change !!JM .02

i understand that. we have decals on our big trucks and the bugs stain them after a while.

We painted ours, and put them under a clear coat...they are shiny and purty.

Mine are vinyl.

I would opt for paint and I am a vinyl guy(sign maker) and a paint guy .
Pro's and cons
Vinyl has a short life ,max 8 years and thats if they cut with the good stuff .
Vinyl can lift on the edges over time
Vinyl will fade faster than paint .
Vinyl is easy to remove in the begining if you dont like it , paint is not
If the vinyl is on very long you may have a hell of a time removeing it .
If the truck is ever buffed it will leave an impression from the vinyl in the clear
Paint done correct will look more factory and should last the life of the truck .
Some times if the truck gets a lot of sun is the paint will fade but under the vinyl will not so if removed it's still there and you have ghost immages .
Just my .02 ,do what ever make you comfortable

hmmm still not to shure wat to do cuz i can get the vynal done for 250 but my unlce a painter so....to shure wat to do but for some reason i perfer on doin it with vynal

The CE stripes are painted on Whitesnake, they did not blend the clear into the white. After the white paint job, they were outsourced to add the striping.

the 2 of them that do not have stripes were sitting in the lot to be painted with the stripes when they got hailed on. That is why 10boom's is white only and outside the group of 200, had to have the white repainted and then they took it out of the mix.
