A special thank you to Roy (Prof)!

About a month ago, I asked Roy for a special favour to send a special video card adapter to allow the front computer to allow three monitors.

Well to be honest, I could not get here at the moment.

Sounds simple right....

Roy sent it promptly as promised by US Mail. Well, some how customs got involved and it was lost track of it.

Roy emailed me Sunday in frustration wanting to know where else he can get this part and he would send another because Amazon ran out of stock and he would send a new one by a superior mode of transportation...

Well to be honest, I didn't really like that idea. I talked to the guys at the post office and they could trace it either. :dontknow:

Well, don't tell Roy but I kinda procrastinated on finding another. I didn't want to see Roy spend any more money.

The guys at the post office told me to wait a couple days it may turn up....

Well it did an hour ago!!!!!!! :elefant: :elefant: :elefant:

I have enclosed some pics of what it can do... Please be easy on them, they are from my Blackberry...

Thank you Roy, I have not had the chance to meet you in person (YET!!!!), but I am proud to call you a friend.

thats too cool. we work off of 2 monitors in our dispatch office so we can have several programs open at once. roy is a great guy even if he thinks hillary is hot.

To be honest, when you get 'into' the game you never notice them...

The blackberry doesn't give the pictures justice.

In game pics are just amazing... Especially if you bump another car and a bumper comes flying at you. :rock: :rock:

The system setup up front isn't the greatest gamer system. Only a Phenom 9650 with 4GB of Ram. My desktop has more power...

The ATI Radeon 5870 does all the work. If you go this route. Make sure you have a nice case, it barely fits in the case I have it in.

I was playing with it last night and it was an incredible experience. There is a view where you actually are looking out the windshield of the car, making you feel like you are actually driving!!!! :rock: :rock: :rock:

I am can't explain it well enough to give the experience justice...
