It still says Viper Powered under my handle which is no big deal. There are members with Senior Member under there names but with fewer post or higher member numbers. Just trying to figure out what the magic combo is.:dontknow:

Jeeezzzzzz!!!! I guess I'm branded with that for life. Even DJ was kidding me about it the other day. Oh wells, guess there are worse things to be remembered for. I thought I had redeemed myself with the Citgo that we met at on the trip to the Nats. I'll keep trying.

The senior thing is no big deal. I was just trying to figure out how the title structure goes. "You got a Hemi" to "Viper Powered" to "Almost Senior Member" to "Senior Memeber". I forgot what order they were given.

I know when you said "Senior Members" you meant the "Old Timers". It just sparked the question in my head about the titles.
I'm on Percocet & Valium for a sciatic nerve problem I've had all last week. I might not be thinking exactly straight. WooHooo!

  2. The first truck is a 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 with two very large turbos. It is very fast and very loud.
  3. The second truck is his work truck: a 200? Western Star diesel truck made for commercial hauling of trailers up to 53' long.
  4. MOST people know that Tony owns and drives both of these vehicles.
  5. Kevan takes these two trucks and uses them as the subjects in his humorous reply.
  6. Kevan says "his big rig" in the first line.
  7. MOST people will take "his big rig" to mean the Western Star.
  8. When people read the second sentence, they will see that Kevan was talking about the Dodge as the 'big rig'.
  9. The Dodge being the more popular vehicle in the locale the joke is posted, and the context within, this becomes humor by subtly diminishing the physical size of the Western Star in relation to the Dodge.
This process is called a REVERSAL.
It is much like a CALLBACK, but done in a much shorter period of time (usually within 1-2 sentences).

Ok, Lemme explain

Viper Powered is the highest level - 1500 or more posts
Senior Member = 1000 to 1499
Almost Senior Member = 500 to 999
Junior Member = 10 to 499
You got a hemi? 1-9 posts

At least this is how I remember it..

The member number is when you joined the forum, the number under your "handle" is based on your posts.

This is why Mikey screamed to be called "Whorelord" rather than Viper Powered ;)

Anyway, I think you get it. You are past Senior Member in posts and you can look at your own member to check that number :p :p :p

Funny thing about Mofo was that the original group all got our Magnaflows from him..................then the header deal went into the toilet:toilet: .....bad mofo!!!

srtx3.........Craig, I remember when I first joined the nfff site June 04 and here is this guy with 3 trucks and wanting to buy more!!! I think he had 7 total at one time!!! Crazy dude for sure.............he definatly posted some funny shit back then..........He had the coolest paint scheme (mural) on the tailgate of one of em.........never saw the entire paint job but he spoke about it a lot.

There were lots of other members back then too that arnt around anymore........I remember logging on and reading every post, replying to many of them in under 30 minutes..............now, no way, we have grown too much.

This is a great site Tony........I dont feel right if I dont log in everyday!!
