Tork Monster, Pirateman and Stinker.

Pirateman thanks for helping me get a hold of Woody's JMB CAI. I didn't install it yet because I think I will send the tube back to Justin for re-coating in another color scheme to better suit the carbon hood, plus I will pick up a matching catch can, coolant hard pipes and LineLoc from Justin at the same time.. Thanks again for your efforts in helping Woody's wife and helping me have a piece of Woody riding in #1900 with me.

Thanks to Tork Monster and Stinker for collectively giving me the opportunity to pick up this beautiful new set of Bassanis. They arrived at my door fast sometime last week and were the first things I saw when I got back home from Norway. If it weren't for Tony I would've had to pass this deal up and miss a chance to acquire some Bassanis. Thanks Stink, I will square up really soon buddy.

According to these pictures could anyone tell me if these Bassanis are already coated? Before I saw them I was thinking I may have to send them to Jet-Hot first. But if they ARE coated then I will have these babies installed sooner than I thought.

Those are coated.....install now.

Okay so would I be able to use the stock gaskets or will I need to pick up a new set? For that matter, would new OEM gaskets work?

From what I have heard new OEM are the best way to go.

Okay then early tomorrow morning I'll head to the stealership and get a set.. I think Justin sells these gaskets too right? :dontknow: I think for like $22 and change?

nice man, and those are coated. post pictures when the install is complete!

The install will take a while since I also have to send my valve covers to Justin and CAI tube for re-coating. THEN I have to pick up a set of red high temp plug wires and a polished intake manifold someone is holding for me. There's no sense in installing the headers yet if I have all that other stuff to install too.. Hopefully when it's done (likely sometime in February since I still have to leave for a month to Africa) I will try to shoot for TOTM again.:D

and get some stage 8 lockers for the headers

yep. what he said.

they are a good header bolt & lockin system. Stinker or Justin should be able to hook ya up

thats what i'm runnin with a different kind of lock washer.
have checked them a couple of times since i installed the Cometic ex. gaskets. have not found any loose ones

the stage 8s have a locking clip less chance of the bolts backing out justin or stink should be able to hook you up. arp is old school but yet good stuff,stage8s are todays time
